Who We Are
Young Dragonslayers is an adult-facilitated online Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) community for kids ages 10–18 who want to play with peers their own age in a safe, welcoming environment.
D&D is a collaborative fantasy storytelling game where players create characters and go on adventures together.
Our team includes educators, mental health professionals, and other adults who work with kids in their non-D&D lives. We take time to get to know each player as an individual, then thoughtfully match them into small groups designed to encourage confidence, friendship, and real connection.
Every hero needs a team. Whether they’re seasoned experts or total beginners, we help D&D-loving kids find theirs.
Getting Started: Choose Your Adventure
Finding the right D&D group for your child is simple. We open enrollment quarterly, so joining the waitlist just means you’ll be first in line when spots become available.

Start playing! We handpick a group we think will be great for your child.
Don’t worry — joining the waitlist isn’t a lengthy dungeon crawl. We can usually find room for nearly every interested player each quarter.
Our Schedule and Pricing
Our games run quarterly, with 10 sessions per term. Each 10-session term is $495 (49.50 per 90-minute session), payable upfront or in 3 monthly installments.
Upcoming 2026 Term Dates:
Winter: January 5th – March 29th
Spring: April 6th – June 28th
Summer (half term): July 6th – August 16th
Fall: September 14th – December 13th
Ten sessions is enough time for players to level up their characters a few times, complete a full story arc, and forge real friendships with their adventuring party without feeling like they’ve committed to an extracurricular for eternity.

We handpick a group for each player to help them find their adventuring party. Along with availability, we consider age, maturity, play style, interests, and personality. After meeting with every incoming player, we gather our notes and then match them, sorting-hat style, with the group that’s likely to be their ideal match.

We welcome players of all abilities and provide a safe, inclusive, and affirming environment. We’ll ask about your child’s support needs on our call, and we have experience tweaking the game to help kids with neurodivergence, learning disabilities, and anxiety thrive. If we don’t think we can offer enough support, we’ll refer you to a more therapeutic program that can. Everyone deserves to experience D&D, even if it’s not with us!
